PLEASE NOTE: there are a few items you will need to source yourself - anti-bac spray, kitchen roll, biodegradable cling film and a sharps disposal bin. None of these cost more than a few pounds each.
FAQs
Do I need to be artistic to do this course?
I don’t think you need artistic drawing skills exactly to make tattoos for yourself, but if you already enjoy using your hands in some way, like crafting, cooking or making things, then that will be a great start. I’m not teaching you how to draw or design tattoos in this course - thats a whole lifetime of learning and a very subjective skill. But I do show you how to take simple ideas and make them into your own tattoo stencils, and I’ve provided some ready made stencils too with things like element symbols, starsigns, leaves and stars.
Is it safe to tattoo yourself?
Yes, if you follow the hygiene and after care guidance diligently then it is absolutely safe to tattoo yourself! Of course, you must not tattoo irritated or problematic areas of skin, and if you have a medical condition then it might be best to check with your GP before having a tattoo from yourself or anyone else. Also you should not be tattooed if you are pregnant.
How many spaces are available on the course?
To be fully transparent - I’m putting together the tattoo kits with a bit of help from my husband Neil. We absolutely don’t have a big production line and it takes a lot of time and care to put together a kit. And I don’t want to give anyone access to the course without the kit because I know that those items are the best to create the highest possible quality tattoos. So we will be limited to a certain number of sign-ups, and will most likely cap the bookings at 100, if we reach that number!
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, at the checkout you can choose to ‘Pay in 3’ with PayPal which is an interest free payment plan which spreads the cost over 3 months.
